Dont dismiss everything Jimbo said

Oct 30, 2016, 9:17 PM

He was mad about last night for sure, but made it clear that the ACC officiating has been terrible all season, and he's absolutely right. From widespread phantom PI calls, to not even reviewing vicious hits (Several on QBs, but even against non QBs as we know, Gallman, and a brutal hit on NDs Tori Hunter Jr opening weekend vs Texas in the EZ. No flag thrown), to ridiculously transparent make-up-call attempts, to an insanely late thrown 15 yard personal foul penalty after Louisville misses a FG on a 4th and 20+ situation late in the game that so conveniently guarantees Duke doesn't get a shot to win the game with the momentum/3 TOs/and great field position, to just flat out not knowing the rules and getting calls wrong in key situations (even going back to the Miami / Duke game last year).

Totally agree that our conference has terrible officiating. The saddest part about it is it's not a new thing. They've been horrible for years, and swoffy lets it go. I think they are peas from the same pod, swofford and our referee group.

Well, it was an ACC crew that made history by enforcing the fabricated penalty for "Giving Da Bizzness"
