The whole team outside of Sam hall strikes out pretty often. But somehow we manufacture 5 or 6 runs a game on average.

He’s struck out 26 times in 79 at bats. That’s pretty much 33% of the time. There’s nobody else with an argument to get out there. Especially with Bo recently taking over in RF due to Meredith’s injury. Fairey has no argument to play over Teo. It is what it is. I’ll take .278 from #8 man with some power. I don’t think he can just flip the switch and start making more contact. Bottom line is he does swing and miss often but that’s why coach has him at the bottom. The problem is him not getting the bunt down vs ND and today we get picked off when he was trying to bunt but pulled back. Baserunning error. Monte tries to protect Teo by putting him at the bottom but he just seems to come up in big situations a lot. Have to stay with him. He’s great on defense and all of his numbers of formidable for his position in the order except the strikeouts. We just have to hope his strikeout every 3rd at bat comes with nobody on base ya know?

As much as he strikes out he was way worse last year. At least he is improving. Wilkie stunk up the joint today, hitting into a double play with bases loaded in the first and not producing with runners on the rest of the game. The fact is if Sam hall and Logan Davidson are not on, this team struggles to score runs
