Interesting note: Happens to be one of my favorite Stones songs, however, I remember thinking it was kind strange and inappropriate for a football game while watching since it is kind of an anti-war song or about social upheaval. But apparently, it is one of Nick and Terry Saban's favorite songs to play in their car after Alabama wins? *L* ESECPN? Go figure, also kinda bizarre.

I thought the intro that night was great....brought back a strange, but fond memory.
In March, 1992, I was sitting on a bench outside of the arms room at the Army base camp in Las Delicias, Honduras, waiting on my driver. The guys at the counter had the base camp radio station tuned in and they were playing Gimme Shelter. About 2/3 thru the song a Huey flew by with 2 guys sitting in the door. For a minute I thought I had gone back in time 20 yrs lol
