Does Coach V want Nolan Smith

Clemson commit Andrew Booth tweeted about wanting to play with Smith(5star DE, Georgia Commit) at the next level and Smith responded with “yea Coach V doesn’t want me...” did we stop recruiting him because spots filled up? Or do you think he’s trying to pump up the drama much like Xavier Thomas did last year?

We canceled his official visit because he is committed to UGA and has showed no interest in flipping. Clemson rarely allows O.V.s if the recruit is committed elsewhere. That's why we also cancelled Travon Walker's OV.

The door has been wide open all year for an unofficial visit or to even show interest through communication. Nolan is fully committed to UGA and just wants to get pampered on OVs to other schools on their dime. Same with Travon Walker. No reason to waste any time or money on em.

What’s more likely: Venables not thinking he can coach the top player in the country or a top recruit who’s already committed elsewhere wanting to stir up drama in his recruitment to keep his name on Twitter?
