Canada yes, Syracuse no...unless your going to Syracuse from Canada (like me) then yea you need one.

I was born and reared in Binghamton, NY, just south of Syracuse, but I "grew up" in the South via Clemson University, and have been in the Upstate ever since. (I took a required entrance exam to the Clemson College of Architecture in Slocum Hall at Syracuse U. in the middle of February '73 - 10 deg. and the snow was deep...) I'll watch the game this weekend with a good friend of mine who actually grew up in Syracuse that I only met here in Spartanburg about three years ago, great guy, and we're the same age... umm. He and his wife have children who went to Clemson and have grandchildren on their way - he's a Tiger through and through, but he's always got a little something for Syracuse.... (His brother is a champion lacrosse coach at Limestone here in the Upstate...) We share fond and crazy memories of life in the "Upstate" that sometimes leave our local friends lost, bewildered and amused. The only "passport" required for Upstate NY is a love for Genesee beer (the "Cream Ale" is the bomb, but not for everybody...), and German and Italian food (the real stuff), which you can find on almost any corner. 'Sorry for getting a little nostalgic, but I wish I could make the game this year.
