Do we really want Clemson to beat Alabama again?
Aug 1, 2019, 1:06 PM

It might be great in the short term, but think of the long-term ramifications: after loosing to Clemson in 3 of the past 4 years, Saban decides to cut bait and retire before his legacy is tarnished even further. The position is offered to Dabo, who (of course) accepts. Clemson falls back to being a 9-3, 8-4 kind of team every year.
Is that what we really want?

Genius! Also we won't have to listen to all the excuses as to why they lost to Clemson!

Saban would just hire Spurrier to fix his offense.***

I thought "we" were Clemson. You're asking me to have an out of body experience to answer that question. Too early in the day for that yet. See Spud or LBB.

Yes. I think it’s safe to say that everyone was disappointed in how last season ended, not finishing that last drive and all. Dabo will have them better motivated this year.

If we play Bama again, the nation will be sick of the championship game. I bet the ratings would suck.

the odds of the both playing again are fairly slim. I suspect just the way things go one or both wont be there

Personally I think Saban is scared of us

My bet is that he throws at least one game this year, maybe two, so ensure he avoids us in the post season. He'll be more relaxed in a New Years Day bowl, with an easy win and his legacy in tact.

Tebow already said that CLEMSON won't make the CFP, so he's already solved your problem. You should have checked with Tebow first. And he is never wrong about football and Alabama. Oh wait...

YES, because...

...well YES. And yes because Dabo will NOT be leaving Clemson for Alabama. Having already climbed the ultimate mountain on his own terms, he has nothing to prove by leaving and being the poor soul that has to follow up Saban.

I would rather beat TCU for the Championship. No SEC.
