Captain Obvious here, but we've got a great class.

Per Rivals, our 16 recruits all are nationally ranked with the following breakdown.

QB - No. 1
RB - Nos. 3 and 36
OG - Nos. 4,7 and 12
OT - Nos. 17 and 25
DT - Nos. 6 and 10
SDE - Nos. 1 and 2
OLB - No. 14
ILB - No. 6
CB - No. 3
S - No. 1

We have a shot (maybe not great) at:
WDE - No. 1
SDE - No. 3
OLB - No. 1

I remember years I would have been happy to have the player rankings above in the State, much less the Nation.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled grumblin'

He has us in his top 5 and is from Michigan.


I think we have a great chance at landing the #1 WDE.

I keep hoping we get another guy like Leggett who has a real impact. Just seems like that position could be a real weapon for us

I think the coaches know it too and they’ve changed their TE recruiting strategy. They’ve also stopped recruiting small WR’s.

One isn't eligible next year (maybe playoffs) Braden Galloway (6'5" 218) and the other is EE Jaelyn Lay (6'5" 220)

Galloway is around 250lbs and his appeal with the NCAA yet. My point was they aren’t recruiting 6’2” TE anymore.
