Just call and tell them you want to cancel. I did this Monday with all intentions of canceling and switching to YouTube tv and they cut my bill from $108 to $37 a month for the next 12 months. At that price I just stayed with them and in 12 months if they won’t stay at that price i’ll leave then.

I really appreciate the advice. I just called them and told them I was thinking about switching to Dish. My Direct Tv bill was 213.00. I have been with them for 17 years. They dropped it to 121.00. No contract. Thanks for saving me 92.00 a month

I’m planning to switch to utube tv and I have had direct for over 20 years. I’ll have to call them.

We actually tried YouTube tv and liked everything except there isn’t a channel guide like Directv which is convenient. So if our directv bill goes back up we are definitely switching

I can’t remember exactly how it worked but, about this time last year, someone on this site, I think, gave a number to call for a loyalty discount. I called it and had a substantial discount applied to my account. I can’t remember the exact amount but it was substantial. It’s still in effect too.
