I have a friend who works at Tampa Bay Tech (Cain's HS). He (my source) spoke with the football coach this week and was told Dion was unhappy at Clemson and believes he will leave transfer. I hope this isn't the case.
And I'm not a coot so don't even go there...

if he's not happy, there is nothing we can do about it. He probably learned he will have to abide by different rules and grow up. But what do I know. I hope he stays and reaches his full potential at Clemson then the NFL.

I hope he stays but If he leaves, then bye! If he does leave, it will prove, at least to me, he is a "me, me, look at me" prima donna. It was terribly selfish of him to do what he did to hurt his team at the worst possible time. I am not bashing him, I am simply saying if he isn't about the team then he must go just like Mike Bellamy. I'll wish him the best but You and I both know, that won't happen. Sad, sad day for us and him if this is true.

But let's say the whole rumor is true. So, the part about him being unhappy is true. If he isn't happy, then shouldn't he leave? Or do you think he should stick around for another 3 years of HIS life just so YOU can watch him play football?

Missing a national championship game and seeing all his teammates doing something he missed is hard for a young person to handle. Even though it's his own fault, most kids would jump to conclusions and rebel. So him leaving doesn't surprise me.
But the smart play would be for him to return and continue to grow and help the team get back and become a better man. But kids seldom see the big picture. Let's hope he gets some better advice than leaving.

Not a huge loss for us, don't get me wrong he's a very very talented player but we are stacked at WR and if doesn't get his #### together he will be more of a distraction. For the good of the young man though I hope he gets his priorities straight though.

Many years ago, I had a rough first semester at Clemson and wanted to leave.
My mother talked me into staying through the spring semester since I was already registered and didn't have time to get in anywhere else.
Things changed in the spring at Clemson.
Two Clemson degrees later, I cried when I had to leave. 36 years later after graduating Clemson, I'm an emeritus professor.
PLEASE finish this semester, Mr. Cain.
Amazing things happen in the spring at CLEMSON!

Funny you mention that. I hated Clemson my freshman year. I was from California and felt out of place. By year two I absolutely loved it. Most of my best friends went to Clemson. He needs to stick it out. He will be in the NFL after two seasons anyway. He will look back and always love the fact he went to Clemson.

Not true. I have a source who had dinner with his dad before BCS game in Tampa and says they were unhappy...with Dion!
Said the were driving up to Clemson to watch the Champ game with him in a hotel room. Went on to say that "Dabo is making my son a man" also said "we've told Dion he gets a chance to get his natty in his hometown next year"! Also was very confident at that time we were gonna beat Bama!
