but he's definitely fluent in a language other than English, as evidenced by the post-game interview. Good for him to have such expanded horizons.

Yeah, admissions doesn't care that no one can interpret your native tongue as long as you give your own translation of words like "tolerance," "balance," etc. Lavar's translations all sounded like the same scrambled nonsense, but the administration was delighted to discover his hidden talents away from the football field.
