Does Islam and the Jews pray to the same God as the Christians? Only if Islam or the Jew prays to Jesus.
Have you not read with understanding that all things were made, that are made, through Jesus?
That completely refutes the idea, even the scholarly idea, that all three worship the same God. Now, one might say they all three have roots to the earliest traditions and teachings of God. But that is all they share.
And here is something else to keep in mind concerning people who die without knowing Jesus; it doesn't matter what country one lives in, everyone who dies, having heard or not, without Jesus does so without forgiveness of sins. It is heartbreaking when people minimize this truth.
Everyone remembers John 3:16, but how many pay attention to John 3:17? "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
All are already condemned. So, why does the missionary tell the tribal members? So they can choose life from the death they are already chained to - even though they don't know it. That answers the "Why did you tell me question?"

Jesus is the most mentioned person the The Quran. Muslims believe he was born pure to the Virgin Mary. They believe he was sent to Earth to guide the children of Israel and bring The Gospel. He is referred to in Islam as al-Masih (the Messiah).
Belief in Jesus is a requirement in Islam and they believe he will return to Earth at the end times to defeat the false Messiah.

They do NOT praise Him as God. You really put the blocks in a strange order - on purpose for sure. Why don't you have a nice talk with a Muslim some time about whether Jesus or Moohumid is the greater "prophet". Hey, why don't you ask them if either is God while you are at it too.
