Did you know (Basketball Recruiting)

That barring any transfers/injuries we will have 8 4* rated players on our team next year? This is a 4* ranking on either ESPN or 247.
I'm not going to look it up, but I would be willing to bet that Purnell had less than 8 his entire career at Clemson.
These 8 players do not include:
- Clyde Trapp: Projected starting PG - Jonathan Baehre: Apparently an NBA talent. - Nick Honor: Lights out shooter - Alex Hemmingway: Lights out shooter - Trey Jemison: 7 footer that should turn the corner for next year.
Our team next year will be the most talented team in a long time. We will also have the right mix of talent and experience.

Baehre has been hurt so much I'm not sure he's going to do much at Clemson. Not down on him just being realistic given how he hasnt ever gotten a chance due to injuries

I have noticed that we will have the most talent and depth we have had in a long time if they can stay healthy and nobody transfers. We need Baehre to somehow get healthy too. We would have pretty solid team next year with real NCAA aspirations.

We dont know if Honor is lights out shooting and Jemison has forever to go.
Honor was 33% from 3 at Fordham with a 37% fg. Maybe he has improved.

Maybe he is referring to it looks like they are shooting in the dark and can't see the basket. We have several lights out shooters by that definition.

competition was clearly not stellar based off of the season we have had so far. He actually ran pg on that team (Trapp was out with the torn ACL).

The competition may not have been equal to what we see in the ACC each game but when open shots are going in somebody is doing it right. The Tigers shot very well in the summer games in Italy. They are missing those same shots now. That is what puzzles me. Sims was great in these Cup games but he has not been great in all the recent games.
Jemison has great length and plays hard but he has work to do in the off season. He has not impressed me at all but he may develop over time. We certainly need him

Jemison certainly has forever to go. He just looks goofy out there. But don't underestimate Brownell's development with his big men.
Sidy Djitte and Landry Noko were more raw than Jemison.
Also, Elijah Thomas showed great improvement under Brownell.

Easy, he’s not. Just another Brownell pumper outright making stuff up. Like Colgate being the premier mid-major program in Division 1.

True. I have read that too before. There was some article about it when he was transferring to Clemson. Forget the source and have no idea why they believed that.

I said he was apparently NBA talent.
I read multiple different reports that he was one of the best players on the court in practice last year when he sat out. Nothing beyond that.

Do you realize if you google him you get about a dozen basketball player profile pages that DON’T project him to the NBA and then this actual thread. So no, he is not considered an NBA talent.

Who would have thought? A Brownell basher doesn’t even know how to use google! What are you using askjeeves, you clown?!
Since you obviously can’t read or use google, I googled “Jonathan baehre nba talent”. I’ll be ######, there was an article 5 links down citing an ESPN announcer. The announcer said that he was one to watch, and his coaches think hhas a chance To make it in the NBA.
Here’s the link buddy.

As shown above, that isn’t the actual google result for “Jonathan Baehr NBA” and the link you’re using is quoting our own coaches.
