Head coach Willie Taggart said after the game “We will find the guys who quit and they won’t play “ ... What more can you do loosing 35-0 ? Also noticed the FSU qb the whole game , the fans were so happy when Blackmon (back up) got in there !

I guess saying your team quit is easier than saying

you just flat out got your a55 kicked for three quarters?
Is it less embarrassing to quit than it is to get curbstomped?
Anything is possible these days

I'm with you on that thought. I'm pretty sure that was just an old fashion butt whooping. The Tiger's depth is incredible. I think the coach was grasping for some sort of resolve. Bless his heart. ??. Go Tigers!

I wouldn't say they quit , they were beaten into submission is more accurate

I think they rebelled...looks like they want to play one on 11, not 11 on eleven...I think Taggert has his work cut out for him

An awesome D makes a lot of teams look like that. It did look like they had Defensive guys quit once we were up by 3-4 tds. Those guys knew their O had no chance of scratching up but sometimes it’s hard to tell quit vs gassed as their D was constantly back on the field.

I think the FSPU fans would have been happy to see any of us go in the game.

Emotional letdowns took away the adrenaline rush they had in the 1st quarter. They had no answers for Clemson on either side of the ball. They were mentally and physically gassed. Especially once the 2nd half started and Clemson scored in 2 plays.

Yes, after they were getting beat down and they new their efforts were futile. I saw them quit. I would say they completely stopped believing somewhat late in the 2nd quarter and then completely quit maybe 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter.

He signed on to do a job. He's forgotten that his job is to corral red worms. He signed on, he takes the pay, he assumed the authority, the responsibility and now he wants to blame the outcome of that game on people who weren't in authority? Nope, that ain't how life works.
He was supposed to know what Clemson would do. He saw us pass against NCS and saw our running game against Wake. Imo, it's shameful to blame players quitting when the game is out of hand. He needs to confess that it got out of hand because he got out coached.
FSU has out recruited Clemson for nearly three decades. At least Joepa stepped up like a man and said 'I got out coached.'

Actually, I thought they should have given up sooner and started playing their subs like we did.
