I am at a loss in understanding this ACC baseball tournament set-up. This pool A and pool B stuff is so confusing and I'll admit my ignorance and I am begging for somebody, anybody to tell me what our 2-0 record mean in relation to where we are on the overall tournament bracket? I'm so pathetically ignorant I can't even frame a literate question.....forgive my ignorance.

All good. I always actually fill out a bracket (baseball and basketball). I color coded mine...still didn't help. Still confusing. ;)

Pool play sucks but it's not that complicated

you break the teams into pools and every team in same pool plays each other. After each team in the pool plays every other team in their pool the team with the best record advances.

If there is a tie (like two teams that are 3-1 or whatever) the tiebreaker goes to the team that won head to head.
