I thought the same thing, Neon Deion.
This kid has a big arm, and is a big kid overall there's no doubt about that. But how many conference titles did he win? Didn't he have ( Houston's' now ) Will Fuller and a good OL and decent defense that year, but didn't even contend? I wish the best for the kid, but he's not proven. Polar opposite of Watson as far as resume, intangibles and maturity. He's going to have to sit for a while.
As far as He comparing to the preparation of Tom Brady, not yet young Kizer. When you travel out to High altitudes out west to throw to 5th round receivers to train, maybe you'll be in the conversation for preparation, but not yet.
Also, Cam is a little bigger than He is, with a lot more muscle mass coming in at over 40lbs heavier.
Good kid, gotta a lot to learn, and some growing to do. 3rd-4th round pick IMO

While Kiper and McShay raved about Kizer's talent, they joined Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly in saying Kizer is a raw, unfinished product who will need time to develop in the NFL.

Being honest, he has tremendous upside. Absolutely 1st round, 1st pick talent. But... Has made ltitle to no improvement from last year, maybe even regressed and I have seen a decided lack of QB improvement from ND for any of their QBs, which leads me to think poor coaching and development. Still, even with all those gifts, how many Uber talented guys have entered the draft? Akili Smith, Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell. All had what draft experts loved, and all were wash outs.
