I think the first quarter in general has not looked good for both sides. Defense has been okay but not what we were told in the offseason and during camp. Offense is very vanilla with the play calling.

Vanilla but o-line needs to block better. Kelly needs to get his arm right and not look down WR. Defense needs to calm down and stop running into each other.

Option scheme, usually takes a bit to settle into what the team is doing so between can make adjustments. Have to play assignment football.

What are you taking about? They look fine...DL is shedding blocks well...Their reads are off a bit and Tanner had his mix up but overall tackling has been good and fundamentals are great...Furman is a surprisingly well coached and discipline team...

What is on the field does not match the reprots out of the pre-season.
Hopefully, it is a vanilla gameplan and looking ahead.
Still, not being able to run between the tackles for more than 2 yards is a real concern, along with having a QB that is so innaccurtae.

People overreact. It's been 1 quarter, and we've given up 28 yards, 58 if you don't count their loss of 30 on the bad snap, and 0 points. I say the same thing when people post on here about how other teams suck after watching 1 or 2 series from another game.
