I disagree completely and I think it's by far the best state flag.
I also disagree we should have an Orange one on our Uniform. If anything the actual flag on the helmet in the back would be okay.

Using the flag could potentially damage our national brand. People ("fans") from out of the region are attracted to our team because our brand is not associated with a particular state. In nationally televised games, viewers from across the country are more likely to favor us because they don't immediately identify us with our state. (ie, BYU, Auburn, Notre Dame, Baylor, etc.)

I personally would rather see an outline of the state of S.C. on our unis since a lot of people don't know that Clemson is located in South Carolina. But most people wouldn't recognize the triangular shape of our state either.
