sort of hometown team. would make a nice story if he'd make it. I think lack of size and speed makes it unlikely but at least he will have a shot at it

Once he gets cut he will he say it is unfair, that the coaches have to play the drafted guys like he did when he threw Dabo under the bus. LOL Lost a lot of respect for this guy with those comments.

I think the Clemson family has been more than gracious with their constant thanks and accolades for Daniel. He's more than benefited from his path.....glad he's graduated and is seeking other accolades now.

Save it! Just because you served your country (with courage and honor) DOES NOT entitle you to sign a FA contract. The NFL is not like the Boy Scouts -- you don't just sign up!

Looks like he earned his chance!!! And what's with all the butt hurt comments. Daniel is what 24 or 25 and he's already accomplished more for this country,Clemson and football than you haters ever will.

He has an experience that you can't fake and it is hard to replicate.
He has been where few would ever want to be.
As Dabo did, any NFL team could use Rodriguez to give the team true perspective on sacrifice, combat, pressure, stress, and dealing with pain (emotional and physical).
I think Clemson players grew up because of him and he gave the team a lot.
I'm sorry he didn't get to play more, but that is the game - with all its expectations and frustrations.
Don't diss the guy for continuing to try.
Don't diss the team for looking for an edge that he might give them - even if he doesn't make the final squad.
