spread teams are historically soft when it comes to short yardage but we should have never been in that situation. Davidson laid the ball on the ground when it came to nut cutting time, pure and simple. No excuses. Players have to make plays to win and he did not.
The kicker was horrible, but he did the same thing at UGA. The DB falls down on coverage and we give up a 74 yd TD pass to a horrible QB. Players, our players, not making plays, thus the game is lost. That was the difference.

So you say that going for it on fourth and one and not taking the points wasn't the coaches fault?

Shotgun formation on the one yard line is stupid and cost us the game. Jam it up the middle in a power I, instead of the shotgun > bad snap, and we may have one this game.

It starts at The Top....coaches cannot handle the big stage....when something Big is at stake...they simply can't handle it.
