Up by 8 with 5 mins to go first in goal, all we needed was a FG.
If you got nothing run out of bounds if you don't want to get hit.
Throw it in the stands!
This loss should have never happened, except you throw it into double coverage right to the Pitt player.

why are we calling a pass play anyways? Run 3 times for the end zone and if they stuff you fine. Kick the fg and go up 11 with 5 minutes left. This is where the game was lost in my opinion

Yep run as much clock as possible if we don't score a TD fine kick the FG.
This loss should have never happened and prolly will ruin the season

Yep. Not like DW has shown that he can protect the ball all year. This is on the coaches for not recognizing this. Especially since he did it earlier in the game.

I will say this the basic and predictable thing would be to run it at least on 1st down. The play that was called was a good call but bad execution first the play action motion slowed the linebackers down a step or so, then you have Watson rolling out now as a defender you have to make a choice to play Watson or the receiver so just that puts tremendous amount of pressure on the defender, now take in the fact that we have 2 or 3 receivers over there and the linebackers probably really didn't know how many and were because of the P/A and the roll out have moved their eyes. Watson made a bad choice and forced it for reasons I don't know countless of times this season he has been hesitant to throw in that situation and would tuck it even with an open receiver. Maybe he was hurt or was in fear of getting hurt or just didn't recognize the defender or scheme they were in or was being greedy or was over thinking it. Many things he could've done but made the worst choice he could have. I still like the call and the ball being in are best players hands where he is a double threat in that play. If I knew what play was called before it was run I would have liked it. Best player with the ball in his hand and a play that utilizes all his skill set nobody own the coaching thought Watson would make that mistake due to all the experience he has and knowing the situation of the game at that time. That's something we will go with every time. Just like the Bulls with the game on the line put the ball in MJ hand and live with the results. But I wouldn't be mad with a power run either would've agreed with it to. But I will say we couldn't get 1 yard on 2 plays to end and win the game so it's hindsight 20/20. Just needed to man up and play like grown men.
