Crass's Tbonz post got me craving a ribeye sandwich

I want to emulate T-bonz iconic (at least iconic to me in college when I was hungover)
4-6 oz thin-cut ribeye - heavily seasoned with salt and pepper and hard-seared Slice of pan-fried ham Smoked provolone Romaine lettuce (no stems) Medium sliced tomators Serve with Au Jus
I has everything except for the au jus. Never made it, I don't think. Anyone know a quick and easy way to make Au Jus?

found T-Bonz old pre-COVID menu, and what I'm looking for is actually prime rib, turkey, and bacon. NOT ribeye and ham.
Either sounds delicious with a cold beer though.

Here's what it looks like. I wouldn't go quite so well-done on the beef:

To know that you’d have to tour the kitchen, and if you

Toured the kitchen, you’d never have eaten there again. It’s a real catch-22. Just pull out of that logic loop.

in Disgusta late 80s. Athens had the first Tbonz I think. I got to know all the Dawgs in there. Kind of a druggie hangout. GF started doing too much coke. Had to cut her loose, not that she cared at that point.

You could probably use the "Better than Bouillon" beef concentrate to make a reasonable facsimile of a real au jus. Dilute with water and church it up a bit with worshercheshtister and S/P heated in a little sauce pan, maybe a pat of butter.
