I can hear the interview in my mind " yes I decided the gamecocks were a better fit for me . I like coming in second, I took one look at their empty trophy case, the crime ridden streets, and the dumpsters around the stadium and said, yes, I feel at home"

Any way you pitch it, it is not good for our women's team. Nelly Perry was easily the best player on our team and we really missed her this last season. We needed her for this new coach.

NO OFFENSE BUT CAN YOU BLAME HER. SHE IS GRADUATED, HAS ONE YEAR TO PLAY. JUST AWFUL SHE IS GOING TO COOTS. WHY SHOULD SHE STAY HERE FOR WHAT WILL BE A MAJOR REBUILDING JOB.

Let me start by saying I really don't care. Now, what is wrong with finishing what you start? If the girl truly loved Clemson then it would be a cold day you know where before she would go there. I think I heard on the radio that our coach who got fired and Dawn were really good friends so those 2 probably facilitated her transferring there. What it boils down to is, do you feel like you owe your teammates anything and do you feel like you owe the program anything? If the answer is no then good riddance. Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya. If it was something where she needed to transfer like family or something then thats different but I feel no type of way when you just want to be selfish because you think you are owed success.

If boss that you love leaves the company, would you not consider going elsewhere? Don't you feel like you owe your coworkers or company anything? Are you selfish because you think you are owed success?

Can you imagine if your women's bball team was even halfway competitve? We wouldn't have even made the d2 sweet 16 the past 5 years.

I, nor any other poster, know what was involved within this transfer. I too felt she was led by former coach Smith to give Usuck consideration, but I also think she wants to play for a successful program. I live in NE Cola and Usuck is rebuilding using several transfers short term instead of all frosh recruits.
While many herein could care less, Mods please take time to interview Coach Butler once she has concluded Spring recruiting and put a full staff in place. Her initial press intro. was nice, but fans want her candid comments regarding the Women’s program and what lies ahead, especially after losing what was our best returning player.
