Kellen Jones: "I want to cherish the opportunity"

Two Clemson linebackers were injured in last week's win over NC State, and junior Kellen Jones might get his chance to impress this weekend against Louisville. What does he say about his chance? Who are his biggest fans? Full Story »

Could be good for us next year.

I had Calculus 106 with Kellen two years ago in his first semester at Clemson and he's just a solid ball of muscle.

Unless they've changed course numbers, Calc 106 is for technical majors. 102 is the lightweight version. That also says good things about him.

Yep that was for general engineering. Not sure what his major is but your right in that Calc 106 is for science technology engineering or mathematics majors.

Really good article and what a great family this young man has. Recruiting class and young men who want to earn it. Gotta love it!!! Kick some b_ _ _ this weekend, Kellen!!!

I agree. It is really good that we can recruit young men who have strong family support. I know that is not always possible in today's world, and our coaches have been able to help and support a lot of young men who have come from difficult backgrounds. That's always good to see as well.

I have kept up with Kellen since he followed Venables to

Clemson. I may be wrong but I hope the first thought after Saturday's game will be
where has this great young man been hiding. I have a feeling he will have a break out
shining Star moment and it could not happen to a more deserving young man. Go get'em Kellen
and Go Tigers!!!!

I just love the Class and caliber of our players... Another great example of the kind of young men that are attracted to our program! Go Tigers!

Just learned that UGA's Heisman hopeful running back, who tore us up, has been suspended indefinitely. I cringe at the thought of that happening at Clemson. The coaches and others do a great job of trying to prevent it and have been very successful. It's a difficult responsibility. I salute UGA for doing the right thing, just as Florida did. Wish I could say the same for the ACC's FSU.

Its probably wrong, but I heard that he was suspended by the NCAA.
