Coots engaged in a little roster management

Aug 19, 2018, 9:43 PM

https://www.thestate.com/sports/college/university-of-south-carolina/usc-football/article216987550.html#wgt=trending

Made a point of the fact that the scholarship is now available for another player.

Dabo would have done something to where the kid could have stayed in school on scholarship!!!

He is still on scholarship. Dabo would have done the exact same thing South Carolina did here. Kid gets to stay on scholarship but doesn't take up a football scholly.

nothing to see here. kid has a serious medical condition. usc will honor his 'ship. yes, they can reallocate the 'ship but there is nothing wrong here. wish the kid good health and move along. not a story other than his health.

The kid gets to stay on scholarship

just not count towards the limit.

Really wish they'd do more of this , instead of Yanking scholarships from players that aren't working out.

Also wish people would read the posts, not the headline before replying.

i dont know how he made it this far in football. USC did a good thing to maintain his scholarship. Dabo would have done the same thing.
