almost perfect- undefeated or 1 loss to even be in e conversation. Then, you have to win your conference championship. After that, a committee puts the 4 best teams into the Final 4 which guarantees that the 4 best will play it out on the field. No chance for upset where you can luck out and avoid best teams.

Football by far. When George Mason and VCU make it to the Final Four in basketball, it proves that flukes happen and teams can catch lightening in a bottle for 4 games. In football, 15 game schedule with no room for error eliminates flukes. Where have George Mason and VCU gone since their basketball Final Four? Exactly, and coots will follow suit after this ends.

In basketball a slightly above average regular season, gives many teams a chance to win the national championship. In football an above average regular season only earns you a trip to a second class bowl. In basketball 66 teams with a chance, in football only 4. I know this is too logical for most Coots, but it's a start.

I say the coots replace Daren Horn, and replace him with Frank Martin that has gotten them to the NCAA final 4 in five years. Why does Brad Brownell deserve 8 years to keep our program where Horn had their program?
