I was having a discussion with a coot friend the other day. He's a good guy, but as dedicated of a coot fan as you'll find, and he's convinced that Muschamp is the right guy for them that will eventually make them elite. He was saying all they need to do is figure out the offense because Muschamp is an elite defensive coach so there's no doubt he'll eventually build a dominant defense.

My question to him of course was, if he's such an elite coach then why hasn't the defense gotten any better after 3 full years? As I'm sure you can imagine, it's all because of Spurrier.
