What was her record with her upset alerts aimed toward us last season. Not very well as I remember. I know it wasn't well enough to get my nickels thrown into her bucket.

It's a mistake, but one based in reason. The Orange Bowl shows a preference for the Big East, despite not having a contract with them to send their champion there.

That's a fevered delusion. Of the possible solutions, that appears to be the least likely.

I think it is ESPN's way of bashing us just a little bit more.

Until there is a change in ACC Commissioner we will remain status quo outside the mainstream looking in. The teams identified currently and potentially for the future to join the ACC do not grow its football revenue with the exception of Notre Dame. I do not agree with TV executives funding the reorganization of the college landscape to the demise of rivalries and regional contests. They will leave us at our TV sets to watch games played in different time zones and diminish what is really the heart of college sports. I believe we have already crossed the line. It is too late as one other poster said. Clemson may however be one of a few teams that maintains its traditions and rather than running for the ACC remains with it. As for the bigger question is there anyone really trying to pull us away from the ACC? National footprints should be left to the bowl series and a playoff not your conference games. As the ACC seeks to bolster its basketball superiority it has forgotten about football. Maybe Swafford is just miles ahead of us. What a difference it would have been had Clemson risen out of the ashes of NCAA probation and FSU and Miami not lost their swagger. The enjoyment of tailgating and playing in the Southeast far exceeds watching us play Kansas, Texas and TCU on television. Yes Football is big business but as the saying goes what goes up must come down. TV needs to determine what really will happen when it pits the NCAA against the NFL for viewer count.
