Saying..no coach of any sport at Clemson has had his personal longterm success..

but Coach Pendley of Golf wasn’t bad.

Am I missing a coach?

Pell did great in the two years he was at Clemson. He ‘left’ after going 18 - 4 and ended up at Florida where he didn’t win a game in 1979. His claim to fame was bring DF with him from VPI. I guess the sec was just to tough!

Polls salary at Clemson was $40;000/ yr. times have changed,

With all due respect to Danny, Dabo is in a different stratosphere. Its comparing a legendary coach to a great coach.
