Congrats Tigers, and good luck going forward

First, congratulations to the Tigers. I believe Lane Stadium was electric and our fans brought our A-game, but the Tigers exposure to big games over the last couple of years obviously had them poised. Overall, the Tigers are fantastic and I think we witnessed another National Championship team out there. Dabo’s recruiting success was evident on the field.

We had a number of Clemson fans stop by our tailgate and they were friendly (can’t always say the same for other visiting fan bases). It's nice playing teams with fans that care and are knowledgeable about football. The ACC really needs to reevaluate the division crossovers. This game was clearly a winner for the Hokies, Tigers, and the ACC as a whole. We should be facing each other every year like Bama-Tennessee or Florida-LSU, not every 6 years. ESPN and the ACC would be printing cash.

Good luck to your team for the rest of the way and I hope we get a second shot in Charlotte, though I can’t see how the results would be any different. Here’s to hoping we meet each year in the ACC Championship game.

Go Hokies!

Your great attitude is typical of the VA tech fans I met and though you guys may not have won the football game, you represented yourselves and your university well in the game of life.

I was formally known as Furious george and have changed my name to match the name I use to call on WCCP radio.

a native Virginian and actually had a Great Uncle who was one of the earliest grads of VT and an officer of the Alumni Association.

Hence, I'm very familiar with the university and its environs. Great school with a great university community.
