Confused, why did they take UNC’s defensive TD away

at the end there? It came off the score board but didn’t he obviously walk into the end zone?...

Considered a dead ball foul....score should have counted, penalty would have been enforced on the KO but in this case the penalty could not be enforced bc the game ended.

But you don’t stop play ??? Or do you if the clock runs out before he scores. I am still confused why score should not count.

I actually THINK it was called a sack...even though 5 seconds was on the clock when he was down, ##### had no time outs remaining.

Malpractice by the announcers to not discuss this. Yea, it didn’t matter in determining the winner, but it is bizarre to completely not mention a TD disappearing from the scoreboard.

I ask the same question. He picked up the fumble and ran it in. Somebody is going to be mad. It should be 30-20 UNC.

If you watch the replay you will see an official running to the spot he was sacked waving his arms to stop the play.
