I've been pissed at Bowden plenty of times over the years and probably too impatient with him as well.
However, time will tell and hopefully him and spence truly worked and fixed the problems from last year.

What does Spence have to do with stopping the run?
If the Tiger D doesn't shape up, there are a couple of guys named Brandon Ore and Tashard Choice that will do things a lot worse than Dawson and ULM did Saturday.

Of course the defense had some problems last year but I feel the majority of the problems were on the offense. My opinion, of course. Anyway, I think everything will be fine. We are 2-0. Some people have to complain, I guess (already).

STOP THE DRAW PLAY,period.
That's all it is. Smith got all of his yards on draw plays in the first game, and the LaMonroe guys did the same thing. No team in America can run side line to side line with the Tiger's D. The draw is the weakness right now.
It is easily corrected which is good. They need to correct it before NC State because the guy that is starting in Baker's place is faster than Baker. They use him(Andre Brown) on the draw all the time. Once they defend the draw the Tiger's D will be lockdown!

I would be good to remember that the Tiger D has been a top 20 D the past two years and I am sure we will be able to say the same at the end of the year.
