All that talent and he could not draw up a play or two to pick for zion away from the ball to spring him open. In fact most of the year duke won on talent and not coaching.
It appears that it’s not just the players who have less fundamentals these days but coaches may fall in that catagory too.

I have to agree. As I was watching the game it sure did seem to like that he was getting outcoached; throughout the game MS was getting the better and easier shots but Duke was hanging in there on talent and Zion.

Ditto for UNC and Kentucky
Loads of first round picks, but no teamwork. Clearly, K, Roy, and Cali can coach, but it's probably hard to get teamwork out of these players who are only concerned about next year in the NBA.

He was badly out coached in the last three games. Just got tremendous breaks in the first two.
