Most metrics treat all FCS teams the same whether it's SC State or ND State. A lot of times the just throw those games out entirely. A win would essentially gain us nothing and a loss would probably end our season. And we would also show up for the next decade on all of those graphics showing FBS teams that have lost to FCS schools.

There is nothing to gain from playing that game...

You win everyone will point out who cares it was an FCS school. You lose then guess what you just lost to an FCS school.

The ONLY reason I like us playing SC State and Furman and PC and Wofford and the Citadel is at least that money stays instate and helps fund their programs.
