Clemson should have promoted Tajh for Heisman

Nov 20, 2012, 6:58 PM

The SID at other schools promote their Heisnan hopefuls. Has Clemson do e anything to promote Tajh.

we are so pathetic at that. If you want some meaningless nondescript stat the SID has that by the bushel. Totally useless at promoting a player though. Inept in that aspect of their job

Agree 100%. Our SID is useless. And if the SID did promote him, it would be with some lame poster campaign. His job is to promote Clemson athletics. We have a former track coach who won year after year and you never heard about it until he died. Best golf program in the U.S. and outside of the golf community nobody knows it. Does nothing to promote the Heisman heritage. And to top it off he does not a thing about the lack of Clemson highlights on the networks even when our game was just played on the networks. He may be a nice guy but he is horrible and is hurting Clemson in a big way!

next year is the year

he'll be one of the front runners, for sure, and Clemson will probably be a top 5 or 10 pre-season team.

He's just a junior. Most Heisman contenders were big-time players the year before. Boyd will be a frontrunner for next year.

We probably have to actually beat some decent team and not lose to the only team in the ACC that's worth a chit. Plus, TB had a serious downward spiral last season the last 5-6 games. It's hard to predict he could get this good in the off-season. We should just enjoy watching him destroy opponents. We still need to beat the dayum chickens. The Heisman can wait a few days.
