Clemson protest

My family and I have businesses in Clemson....we grew up on Strawberry Lane and Poole lane. Been going to games since 1956.....we knew all the secret paths to grammar school and downtown.....swam in the old YMCA pool...played BBall n the old Y gym....life was calm and safe. I met my wife to be 47 years ago on campus....my life was changed for the better forever. Had the privilege of roaming the campus at will...even got the old sugar coated salt pills from the football team.... We have 8 family members that have graduated from Clemson....14 of us have been going to football games for more years than i can count......family growing too fast to keep up with tickets provided.......
IM NOW WORRIED ABOUT what’s happening.......we all think its ok to do the protest today, BUT WORRY ABOUT THE ANTIFA ETC. groups coming in and causing trouble..the .innocent ..kind...and naive are the folks that get taken advantage of ....due to their non radical tendencies...
PLEASE! PLEASE! DONT LET THIS GET OUTTA HAND.....we have grand kids and other members that want to attend CLEMSON for the wonderful education.....& WATCH THE GAMES....
P.s. for you that dont agree i can bench press 800 pounds...thats a 100 eight times!
I and my family LOVE CLEMSON....DONT MESS IT UP!!

Do Realize That There’s More Going On Here With This Social Justice Thing and That The Word “SOCIAL” Is The Key To The Lock.

The next step will probably be to change more “bad peoples” names, like Clemson the Town and of course Clemson the University.

I think it’s time for someone to say ”we like us the way we are”. We are Clemson. We are better than that.

Protest do not belong on my campus. Especially for something like this. If we had a problem, yes. But we don’t have a problem with race relationships. At least I’m not aware of any. It sound to me like there is a small handful of students that are spearheading this movement. Let them move on to another environment.

I hope Clemson has lots of security posted downtown and throughout the University. I am not worried about any bad acts by people who live Clemson. I am worried about BLM and Antifa busing people in or loose idiots from USuC and other places deciding to make trouble.
