South Carolina isn't the biggest concern, it should be expected. Watching that secondary with Alabama, Oklahoma, or Ohio St. on the horizon is just a little scary.

No, I'm not happy with the defensive performance tonight, but I can take the time to appreciate and be happy for the accomplishment of beating our rival five times in a row and finishing the regular season undefeated. I also believe we have coaches who can make some corrections in the upcoming weeks before the playoffs.
I refuse to be like Bama fans who think their team accomplishes nothing if they don't win a NC. The team works hard and the seniors made significant sacrifices in order to play another year.
Speaking of Notre Dame--they beat a team with a losing record by 7 points tonight.

Talkin all week of how we were going to bury them and even how their fans were all down in dumps beforehand... they usually talk it up every year they suk. I didn’t like not having that edge of having to prove something. Defense definitely bought into the hype tonight. Yikes. But luckily for us we gotta freshman qb, a stable of RBs, and some thoroughbreds at WR that can’t be held back. Lbs and Dbs gotta get there crap together bc it’s about to get real.... Go Tigers! Gotta get 10 in a row! New goal!

and that too was irrelevant. Our "streak" against inferior programs is not worthy of our concern. We have CFB playoffs in mind. To that end, there are a lot of things that need improvement based on our performance Saturday night.

Beating South Carolina was always a given. We have grown and it's about another National Title and beating Alabama or whoever is there to win it all.
