BV didn’t want him because BV realized that Smith was playing us and anyone else not named Georgia.

Smith has no intentions of going anywhere but Georgia and just wanted to take some free trips at the university’s expense. BV and the rest of the staff don’t have the time to waste on a recruit that isn’t seriously interested.
