May 23, 2016, 10:54 PM

Blake Holiday from BHP struck out 14 and only allowed one hit in a complete game shut out.

Congrats, and come on down big fella!

Yeah, This is exactly what we need to push the tigers to consistent CWS appearances. We have the offense going well and lately our pitching has come on but it has been our biggest weakness this year. The future of Clemson Baseball is looking berry, berry good to me!

Saw him pitch twice in the playoffs

May 24, 2016, 9:47 AM

In the two playoff games where I saw him pitch, he pitched 16 innings (first game went 9 innings) and gave up only 4 hits and 0 runs. 2 of those 4 hits were weak ground balls with eyes. The kid can sling it

Looks like he has great size and a pretty good fast ball

what did his offspeed stuff look like?

Not sure if anyone did more than foul off his curve ball last night. Hard enough for teenagers to hit low 90's but with a 12 to 6 curve ball, it's near impossible to hit him

Nice

He'll need a solid 3rd pitch if he wants to be a college starter, but he's certainly got the potential.

Another commit lost AAAA title versus Summerville

May 24, 2016, 12:20 PM

Jack Stamler from JL Mann in Greenville got zero help offensively and lost 2-1 in 10.
He is only a junior, plus they have a sophomore, Matthew Lumsden who also 'committed' and
is a 6'-4" 210 C to 3b & projected as a 1b. Both are All-State.
