Danny Pearman was at Rooster's in Charlotte (Southpark) yesterday (Friday morning). Spoke to a local Christian men's group. He did an awesome job!

I've always liked Pearman. Never could understand the dislike some folks had for him, on the Tnets. Obviously, he's doing a pretty good job. He's been on the staff for a while now.

I’m not sure it’s dislike but I think some here recognize he coaches TE’s and Special Teams. We haven’t had great TE play outside of Leggett 1 year and Allen. Special Teams is improving but after the debacle of it costing us a national championship more coaches got involved. I’m sure he’s a great person as that is a requirement at Clemson, just his results haven’t been up to par with the other great coaches we have.

Since he's been the TE coach we've had 4 first team all ACC tight ends. Two all Americans. Two Mackey award finalists with one winner. No other position coach on staff has had better results than that.
