Have to be the top 1 lose teams. Both have beat 2 top 25 teams. Ours are ranked higher but NDs lose is against a better team though at home. We have played a better overall schedule though but they have been pretty dominant as we have too. One of us will be 3 this other 4.

The only thing that matters is where they were ranked when we played them. There are far too many factors as to why teams rise or fall in polls. The fact is when Clemson beat these 3 teams they were all ranked in the top 15.

No you are so wrong there buddy. The committee does not even look at other polls. They look at the teams you have beat in the rankings they come out with.

No buddy I don't think I am wrong.
Ohio State beat 2nd ranked Penn St which is now ranked 7th after the loss.
So does Ohio get credit for beating the # 2 team or the # 7 team?
Every team that loses a game will fall in the polls.
You will get credit for where they were when you beat them not after you beat them.
Now I will say I think and I hope the committee looks at more than poll positions.
Clemson has a strong resume and so does Notre Dame.

Louisville is not a top 25 team we do not get the credit of beating a top 25 team by beating them just because they were ranked in the ap poll. At the end of the year the committee will look at what teams have beat teams that are in that final ranking.

They are not going to give Bama credit for beating the number 3 team in the nation when that team is 2-5.

We have a better strength of record and an easier remainder of season. They still have Miami and Stanford on the road. It’ll all sort itself out by Thanksgiving.

I think it looks easy. Sucks the critics think it is tough though.
Wake (weak)
Miami (way overrated)
Navy (whatever)
Stanford (Got blown out by real USC, who ND blew out. They lost to San Diego State. They beat Oregon State 15-14 who is 1-7 on the year.)
ND has 1 more game basically, which is vs an overrated Miami..

Clemson has been dominant? Debatable.
25-10 vs GT, 28-14 vs wake, being tied at 7 going into the 4th with BC, and a loss to Cuse is hardly dominant. Some of the teams we will be up against for one of the spots have been destroying their opponents by 30+ points every game.
I say all of that to say, you can’t only view this from the most clemson friendly standpoint. You have to view it from a realistic standpoint. If clemson wins out, and is the acc champ, they’re getting in that playoff. Who cares about tonight. #beatstate

Clemson has been dominant. The only exception being when the team layed down at Cuse. Time and time again Clemson has jumped out to a two TD lead and began to rotate players. A lot of the final scores are not indicative of the game. Many of those points including 7 of Tech's 10 last week are garbage time points. Swinney has played 80 players in most games this year. Dominant dude. I don't know who your team is for sure but I wish you would quit trolling. You make it obvious that you do not watch much of Clemson. ND probably will and probably should be ranked ahead of us at this point but if we win out we're in and then commitee/fan/poll/media opinions won't matter. We will all know who the best is.

Smack down, I and my wife are clemson grads. I’ve missed maybe 5 homegames in the last 5 years and haven’t missed watching a single game in 15 years. Just because I’m realistic and look at the landscape honestly doesn’t mean I’m not a tiger fan. I know that the easy response here, but it’s dumb and poorly thought out. When people on Tnet realize that not everyone including the media, other fans, and the CFP committee don’t view football through orange lenses, the better off they’ll be.
