A cryptic tweet from Clemson assistant Durrell Barry had Tigers’ fans suspecting their team will be wearing chrome helmets Saturday night against Notre Dame.

That won’t be happening, though.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney told reporters earlier tonight that the team will not be wearing them.

Alabama wearing sparkly helmets with an elephant on the side, it just isn't bama. No way Dabo throws away an opportunity to show off the Clemson "brand" on national T.V. in prime time.
