Clemson Tom gets paid.

He gets paid for his videos. He has a pic on Twitter, showing a 60inch plasma and he said he got paid for his videos, and showing what he has bought with it. He also has been asked to take his awbarn video down, but he says cannot.(Acting like hes under contract).

I heard this individual who portrays himself as "Clemson Tom" a few times last year and a couple of times already this year. And while I'm very sorry to hear he might have cancer and hope for his speedy recovery, I now think MUCH LESS of his imbecilic antics after I find out he's receiving money to embarrass my alma mater--and thats certainly the on-air perception he's gone to great lengths to create.
Its possible that because of my age, and I know I'm considerably older, that others in this new digital society might not take as much umbrage, but I do. I find his behavior juvenile, unintelligent and detrimental to Clemson. And, of course, just knowing that hosts on these national radio shows love his calls because of the controversy and fan rebuttal they invite makes it even more reprehensible.
Not butthurt, just my opinion.
I've never even been fully convinced he's actually a fan of Clemson sports.

I guess maybe the Clemson Athletic Dept. asked him
to remove the Auburn video. I think that's probably not
true...seems they would ignore it.

I don't think the athletic department asked him to remove the Auburn video. He didn't do anything wrong in the video. I've watched it a few times and he didn't break anything but hearts and apparently some your egos.

I did. I saw him grab a piece of sod, saying he was going to take it. Didn't see him actually walk out of the stadium with it. I seriously don't think he would steal sod, alone one piece. I think he did that for just the video. I'm actually surprised you would think he would steal one piece of sod and then post the video of it.
