Clemson Stats

Thus far into the season, the Clemson Tigers have outscored their opponents by a margin of 200 points. Let that sink in. The stat is 294-94. This is all while building depth, dealing with QB Transfers, and the tragic loss of a former Clemson RB. This is while dealing with a QB who was injured during the Syracuse game and using our former 3rd String QB to win the game. Folks, I'd hate to speak too soon, but Clemson is unstoppable this year. Clemson will go 15-0 and that's the bottom line. If you'll notice, we're not even really opening the playbook yet either. Our defensive line will be another younger monster next year with all the bells and whistles. Dabo was right when he said, "the best is yet to come".

That's pretty impressive!

That annual game against Bama this year in the playoff is going to be one for the ages. They've outscored their opponents 433-127 by my count (306 margin). Tua's got to come back down to earth sometime... I hope we're the team to make that happen.

Alabama has played their starters for most of the games. Our opponents have only scored during garbage time when we're playing our three deep backups. I do not count that at all, and our backups are starting to shut down offenses on the defensive side of the ball. Our offensive backups are beginning to extend drives and keep the chains moving for a couple of scores as well. By the time our Playoff game gets here there should be ZERO drop off from starter to backup.
