Clemson NCSU anomaly....

Betting line opened at 16.5/17. As best I can tell. Here is one source....(Look at number 389/390)

The public is piling on NCSU, 71% of public bets are on the Wufpack (look at number 389/390 again)

Logically, the line should move DOWN. But it's not. It is moving up! Now at 17.5/18 (see 1st link)

The amount of bets placed for a team has no effect on the line, the amount of money within those bets is what matters. Meaning if 100 people bet NC State at $1,000 each then 1 person bets $250,000 on Clemson to cover Vegas is in the hole $150,000 if Clemson wins so they move the spread up to entice bigger bets against Clemson.
