Clemson has won more ACC Championships than any other School in 2 of the 3 major sports in ACC History.

Historically, Clemson has treated basketball as an afterthought to football. We allow facilities to become badly outdated, we take the cheap route on coaching hires, and we fail to provide that coach with the resources he needs to go out and recruit great players (staff budget, facilities, and consistent support from administration and fans).
We do all of this while patting ourselves on the back for being a football school.
And then we wonder why we aren't better at basketball, concluding that we are just a football school that won't ever be able to compete with Duke and UNC.
Meanwhile, other coaches don't hesitate to point out to recruits that Clemson doesn't care about basketball. When we do try to hire a coach, he is well aware of our basketball history and our apparent lack of concern for basketball.
Honestly, it's pretty amazing we have had the (rare) success we've had in basketball, given the above.

Dabo was able to heal the divide in our fan base well before any national championship and I wish Coach B could use his knowledge & personality to help turn things around. Perhaps it’s the full support of the AD and BOT out front and center that we need, but we need something. Weekday games are hard for people to travel to, but there are enough fans in the Greenville, Anderson, Seneca etc areas to make a good showing. I know winning always brings fans, but the players need support and fans help give them that extra belief. I don’t know the answer, but I don’t think firing the coach right now is it. It’s really easy to criticize and ride someone’s ###, and it should be equally as easy to support them

Stop with the excuses... it's old and tired and makes you sound cootish.
In a LOT of ways it's the fans like you are the reason why we can't move forward in basketball...it's one excuses after another. Stop.... it's old.
Tommy Bowden had a bunch of excuses too....

and another thing.... every single Tiger fan knew we were going to lose that game last night even when we were winning at the half... WHY? Cause of the same of Tommy Bowden types of excuses and issues...

Or that 1 regular season MBB first place finish?
