TE going foward

Jan 12, 2017, 6:38 PM

Milan Richards has to be the starter going into the spring. Will he be used more as a WR type like Leggett or more of a FB type that blocks the majority of time? Is there a RS that may overtake him?

He'll be Dwayne Allen 2.0

Garrett #44 - has been playing more than anyone behind

Leggett, he is a stud! Maybe he will play along will Richards?

What about Shadell Bell? Not as beefy but a former WR, so great hands ...

Was going to post something similar. All of these kids are players, now we get to see who will rise to the top.

And if Clemson can somehow, someway convince Mustapha Muhammad to join up then it will be on. Not likely, but can't fault the staff for trying. Kid is a player.

tight end.

If Milan is our starting TE this year, he must...

learn to block better. He whiffed on two plays in the red zone against OSU when we were within the 10 yd line and walked away with no points (missed FG). It was so bad, both Deshaun and Wayne were getting on him for missing the key blocks to free them for the TD (they would have scored)... they were BAD misses. I kept praying he would not be needed in the NCG.

All that said, I hope the guy learns the position, practices well, and becomes a stud for us. I hope there is tremendous improvement in our backups this offseason based on the falloff observed when Leggett was out this year.
