Chad Morris is predictable on goal line plays.

Oct 13, 2014, 4:39 PM

I understand you dance with the one that brung you but I happen to agree with some of the posters on our goal line woes. Our plays are failing not particularly because of our lack of talent but for the same reason UL's goal line play failed. They know what's coming.

Ya'll no I ain't no dumper. We won despite UL's coaching staff knowing what we'd run. I think our coaches know they dodged a bullet and I expect we'll see some creative play calling on our next try from inside the five yrd line. If we don't I'm still not stupid enough to talk chit about Morris.

I think the same people who said Morris is the only reason Dabo had any success are those calling for his head. That ain't cool.

Chad Morris got Mike Williams wide open for a touchdown

on the goal line prior to the half. I would have doubled him were I the defensive coordinator, but Morris still figured out a way to get him wide open.

How many times does he need to explain that they were *intentionally* trying to kill the clock and make Petrino use all of his timeouts, predictability be ######? They believed that up 6 with 2 minutes and zero timeouts for Louisville, with the way the defense was playing, was good enough to lock up the game.

So again to reiterate, his priorities were:

1) Kill the clock

2) Score a TD

Well, he accomplished #1 right before halftime....

#2 ....Not so much.

the goal line. The issue was that with less than a yard to go, we pulled a lineman to block. When you do that against a stacked front on the goaline, a DL will blow that hole up every time.

Spurrier's DC seems to know every play chad calls also.

BTW I was trying to figure out----Has Chad's offense been held scoreless since he has been coaching at College level?

As far as "calling for Dabo's head is concerned"---- Chad Morris has a locker full of job offers. Swinney has none. zero.

Pruitt @ UGA & FSU knows what Morris is gonna call

He sets up his defense to force Morris into calling the play Pruitt wants him to call.

Really, it seems to me that other teams make the adjustments at halftime & Morris never seems
to adjust his play calling to what the defense is doing after the adjustments.
