improvement in this game. The competition from Watson will make him step up and keep his job.
I was excited to see Cole play before the season started and I'm still excited to see what he can do.
Make no mistake, I want to see Watson perform as well...but I think the QB controversy will die down after this game.

Just keep doing what he did in the first half against UGa and in the SC State game. Stoudt's a game manager for us, and I don't think he'll lose the game for us.
I'm much more concerned about OL play and the running game.

The Oline needs to step it up.
I honestly don't think that DJ Howard should be the starter at RB. I believe he's more lucky than good. Just sayin.
If they start pinning us on our own 5 yard line every time they kick it off, it's gonna get ugly again.
Special teams has me a little worried.

All over this one. If our running game gets better, the whole offense gets to roll, IMO. Get that fixed, and this offense is almost unstoppable. Add to that a RB who also can play QB, like Choice, and another who can catch and run the ball as well as throw, as I know Watson can do, and I suspect Cole can catch, too, and this is a nightmare for opposing DC's. IMO

Don't disagree, but for him to do that he has to get better protection from a pretty ineffective OL. Get that fixed, and we will see how good this team can be. I believe all of us would be very pleased.

Independent of the QB controversy here on this site, Cole is an impressive young man that represents our university(and contrary to my pulse rate, this MY University) very well. Give this young man a chance. He's gonna fall victim to DW talent soon enough which most of you are just waiting for and yes, you know you are. Loyalty doesn't matter a hill of beans to some of you guys...let him have his moment, he deserves it!

I agree with you, but your comment about loyalty is ridiculous.
Dabo gets paid to win football games, not be loyal to players. Am I hoping Stoudt sucks? No, if he comes out slinging the ball all over the yard and leading scoring drives then I will be overjoyed. But if he doesn't perform you don't play a guy that hurts your team. "Loyalty" has nothing to do with anything. Results (Wins and losses) are what matters.

We lost a game against a team that lost to USuCk. Somebody's gotta pay for that. Most of these guys refrained from blaming Cole for an entire week now by claiming about that eight or nine million dollars worth of coaching staff didn't know ##### they were doing. That didn't float so now they have resorted to blaming someone who can't respond to them without disrespecting his backup.

Charles: One way to help the running situation would be to put 2 backs in the backfield plus the QB. I'd come out with Choice and Flemming and give the ball to Choice and have him follow Flemming thru whatever hole he could make withe the help of the OL. also, have aother blocking back for pass situations.
