COOTS RB

Aug 20, 2020, 1:56 PM

Marshawn Lloyd out for season with torn ACL . He was projected to be the starter and looks like a talented kid. Hate to see anyone get injured, thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery young man .

Very Doubtful, unless they go 2-8 or worse. With the Kung Flu going on, they do not have enough $ to pay off Muskrat and hire a new Coach.

I doubt it !!!

Affording the buyout will still be an issue for them particularly in light of COVID.

Originally, if they fired Muschamp after the 2020 season, the buyout would have been $15.3 million, plus a prorated amount of salary (approximately $12,022 per day) from date of termination until Dec. 31.

However, while he recently agreed to a reduction of the buyout, he would still be owed $13.2 million, plus the prorated amount.

It might as well be $13 billion because uof6c still can't afford either one.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

That's awful ..... feel bad for the young man. He is supposed to be a good one.

Hate to hear that with any young kid. But if there's any season to miss, this is probably it.

That raises another question - I wonder how many athletes will miss the full season or individual games due to typical football injuries like this, versus how many will miss it due to COVID illness or complications. Would be interesting to see that stat at the end of whatever season we end up having.

Wow, that chicken curse is aweful. I hope he makes a great recovery.

This has happened to them before. It seems like that signed a couple of RBs that were SC players of the year in HS who ended up hurt. And then that big DE from Florence (?) who tore up a knee on the opening kickoff of the season...I think all those were late 80s or early 90s.
