CHOICE at RB goes 5-10 200lbs, power and fast

Jul 16, 2014, 3:49 PM

But never hear anything about him possibly being a contributor. I hear about how Howard is the starter (Doubtful IMHO) and look fwd to having Ty Dye back (mid season) and Gallman could prove himself, Brooks can catch the ball well. What about Choice, I think he comes in and makes some waves.

Whatcha say Tigers?

choice can catch the ball really well also. I think he is the most talented of the bunch.

I think we don't hear much about him in that regard

Jul 16, 2014, 4:00 PM

because he has yet to participate in a single practice at Clemson. He may turn out to be the best RB we have, but it's just hard to make those kinds of predictions until he gets in the mix at this level and coaches can evaluate. Couple that with the fact that we have some guys like Gallman, Howard, Brooks, and Davidson who have some talent and experience, and it's hard to project where a guy like Choice will fit.

Completely agree. It's going to be extremely difficult for him to get in the mix with such little practice time.

yeah he's about 5'8, solidly built and maybe shorter with his shoes off.

Good thing he plays in shoes. Height is not a must in runningbacks.

I'd be happy with another Reggie Merriweather.....He did

alright for us at 5'8"

Biggest reason you have not heard anything on Choice

Jul 16, 2014, 9:59 PM

contributing is the fact that he has yet to even practice.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

choice will be a great RB for us but

Jul 16, 2014, 10:14 PM

Unless he blows it up in practice or the injury bug hits I think he will redshirt this year. No need to rush him in if he's not ready, we already have good depth at RB.
